The MFC-5860CN is the ideal machine for printing professional black and white text documents, vibrant colour presentations or photos with or without the borderless option. Both colour and mono faxes can be sent and received exceptionally fast due to the built-in 33,600bps Super G3 fax modem. Thanks to the 400-page memory you’ll never miss that all important fax should you run out of paper. There’s a built-in scanner included that can be used for a wide variety of purposes including send a scan in an e-mail or report, save a scan as a file or onto a media card, or use the versatile scanning technology to manipulate an image. You can produce crisp colour copies without using a PC, giving you all the functionality and convenience of a standalone colour copier at your desk. The automatic document feeder and flatbed design means that copying single sheets, or thick bound documents, is performed with absolute ease. The MFC-5860CN’s PhotoCapture Centre™ allows you to print high quality, glossy photos directly from your memory card. It lets you securely save and retrieve documents via your media card to and from any connected computer. You can also print your photos directly from your camera by using the PictBridge interface. All Brother colour inkjet multifunction products come complete with four individual colour ink cartridges so colours can be replaced separately. Brother original LC1000 ink cartridges with fade resistant ink used with Brother BP61 glossy paper enables the MFC-5860CN to print with a smaller droplet size (1.5 picolitre). The result is a higher quality print with better definition.
