Stevenage, UK - Ultratec, the leading provider of data security services and solutions, today announces the appointment of Peter Hodgson as Managing Director of UltraSupport Services, its third party maintenance (TPM) services business focused exclusively on servicing the IT channel market.
Pete brings a wealth of experience having spent over 20 years working in the channel services industry. Prior to joining UltraSupport, Pete held senior positions at companies including Phoenix IT services, Synstar and Daisy Communications. Most recently, Pete was Director of Sales at NCE Computer Group, a computer hardware company offering an extensive range of services in Data Centre and Enterprise IT environments.
UltraSupport Services was established by Ultratec to benefit from the substantial parts inventory of the Group as well as leveraging Ultratec’s extensive engineering expertise in the field of data storage devices. With the addition of regional stocking locations to meet stringent Service Level Agreements, a dedicated TPM helpdesk, and the expansion of the nationwide engineering team, UltraSupport’s TPM business is seeing strong growth in a sector characterised by mergers and acquisitions.
With systems and processes now tried and tested for the smooth delivery of TPM contracts, and revenues already ahead of schedule, the business is poised for significant growth.
